Almost three quarters of respondents feel directly or indirectly affected by the war.

When the INDUSTRIAL Production survey was conceived, there was still talk of the threat of war. In the meantime, war has become a sad reality in the middle of Europe. 286 readers have now taken part. However, the survey will continue over the weekend.

Many are affected

A clear result: 40% of the respondents' own company is directly affected, with 3.6% of them even facing a threat to their existence. For a further 33 percent, customers are affected. Only 25.5 percent see themselves as a company that is not affected.

The second question about sanctions shows that 70 percent want tough measures against Russia. However, 15 percent also have reservations. One reader writes: "What should Putin be afraid of from Germany, we are only harming ourselves with sanctions and slowly destroying our industry in the process."
