Gedore has introduced the new CrimpMax-360 Professional crimping pliers for crimping wire end ferrules on cables that are not under tension.
The lightweight crimping pliers have a 360° rotatable crimping work area which, according to the manufacturer, can be optimally adapted to the application on the switch cabinet, work table or workbench, for example. The working range of the 8150 CrimpMax-360 Professional can be moved in 45° increments. Equipped with a 4-edge precision crimp over the entire sleeve length, this enables precise crimping in accordance with DIN 46228 EN 50027. The pliers are suitable for wire end ferrules with and without insulating collars up to a length of 18 mm and a cross-section of 0.08 to 16.0 mm2as well as twin ferrules from 2x0.25 to 2x10.0 mm2. The application is guaranteed by automatic cross-section adjustment and the unlockable positive lock to ensure a complete crimping process.
