LED tube light: robust design for harsh environments
A bright, optimally illuminated working environment at the machine or system is crucial for effective and safe processes. At the same time, the machine light must be adapted to the respective conditions of the working environment.
The new PS ProtectLED tube light from Pfeifer and Seibel with IP67 protection offers a wealth of configuration options combined with an elegant design and robust features. The luminaire can be flexibly adapted and integrated into almost any machine and system concept. Inside the elegant and robust metal and borosilicate glass housing is the powerful LED technology of the PS ProtectLED.
The tubular light has an M12 plug for digital control with 24 volts via a machine or system, e.g. via a PLC. The optional through-wiring allows several lights to be connected in series, eliminating the need for time-consuming wiring work. The compact, heat-dissipating aluminum profile on which the LED module is located ensures optimum thermal management and therefore a long LED service life of up to 50,000 hours. The tube made of robust borosilicate glass protects the luminaire along its entire length.
Resistant to temperature changes, water and acids
As an option, a diffuse cover made of hard-wearing PMMA over the LED system ensures the most uniform light distribution possible. The high resistance (IP67 protection rating) to temperature changes, water, acids, alkalis and organic substances means that the PS ProtectLED can also be used in harsh industrial environments. It is also available as an RGB signal luminaire and optionally as an RGBW luminaire, which uses an additional white chip to create beautiful pastel shades and new mixed colors in addition to pure white LED light.

The tube light is available in three lengths: 345 mm, 600 mm and 850 mm. This means it can be individually adapted to the respective machine or system concept. The light can be mounted and positioned easily, safely and quickly - even without tools - using various mounting clips or a pipe clamp. The clips are made of spring steel with a nylon-coated surface, the clamp is made of UV and weather-resistant polyamide.
