Andreas Mühlbauer,

Good grip for thermoplastic corrugated hoses

Stauff is expanding its range of modular pipe, hose and cable clamps in the standard series with a CHC clamp body variant.

The clamp bodies are used to guide and fasten corrugated thermoplastic hoses, which are widely used on mobile machinery and in stationary hydraulics.

A circumferential rib in the clamp body holds the corrugated cable protection conduits securely in place without any significant pre-tension. Axial slippage of the corrugated conduits is ruled out if installed correctly. Inserts made of thermoplastic elastomer, which reduce the inner diameter of the clamp body to standard cable outer diameters between 7 and 18 mm, extend the range of possible applications. Individual electrical cables can thus be routed safely and without damage. The clamp bodies are available for corrugated conduit nominal diameters of 10 to 48.
