CLA lubrication system

Andreas Mühlbauer,

For a long chain life

Iwis has added a CLA (Chain Lubrication Application) lubrication system to its portfolio.

With the help of a special applicator, this permanently delivers lubricant to the chain drive and other components. The special applicator made of high-performance material serves as a reservoir from which small quantities of lubricant are continuously dispensed to the drive chain in use. This prevents the roller chain from being undersupplied with lubricant during use or from dispensing unnecessary amounts of oil.

The CLA pumps can either be operated separately with a timer or integrated into the machine PLC. With a pump pressure of up to 70 bar, up to 16 lubrication points can be supplied with oil using one distributor. The special applicators made of PU foam are robust and available in many different versions.
