Flexible safety gate system
The digitalization of the manufacturing and process industry is on the rise. Euchner's communication and network-compatible safety technology helps companies to shape this change.
Euchner is presenting its latest "Smart Safety" solutions at the Hannover Messe. These include the highly flexible MGB2 Modular safety gate system, which is now available with a new bus module for connection to the EtherCAT bus protocol with FSoE. The MGB2 Modular system secures access points in safety gates and fences behind which hazardous areas of machines and systems exist. The entire system has a modular design and can be customized: it consists of a locking module, submodules for operating and display elements and optional extension modules.
The user selects the MBM bus module for their individual connection. The locking module of the MGB2 can be connected directly to all bus modules or mounted separately and connected with cables. One advantage of the remote bus module is that several locking modules and separately mounted extension modules can be connected to the same bus module. This opens up freedom in system design and saves hardware costs.
