Coolants and lubricants for grinding processes
At GrindTec, Oemeta will be presenting coolants and lubricants specially designed for grinding processes. According to the manufacturer, they exhibit optimized flushing and wetting behaviour, prevent grinding burn and, in addition to high dynamics, also fulfil transport tasks even with fine rod abrasion. These include GTL oils, the oil-free concentrates Frigomet BF 600 and Frigomet DP 455 V as well as Novamet 900 B, an emulsion for grinding. According to the manufacturer, the boron- and formaldehyde-free Novamet 900 B not only provides high lubrication performance but also even better removal of hydrophobic fine particles and significantly longer tool life.
The oil-free Frigomet BF 600 and DP 455 V can be filtered and cause only minimal residue. According to the manufacturer, they have good rinsing and wetting properties and a high removal rate. Frigomet DP 455 V is free from bactericides and silicon. It is particularly suitable for surfaces that are re-treated, including glass surfaces. Because it leaves no residue, it is trusted by manufacturers of ceramic hobs, among others, who can then coat their products with process reliability. According to the manufacturer, Frigomet BF 600 has a high lubricating performance, making it suitable even for standard machining operations with a specific cutting edge. sw
