Roll and secure

With the EA1, Blickle has developed an electric drive system for upgrading transport equipment and manual push trolleys. The system, which can be configured from various standard components, enables effortless handling of loads weighing up to 2,000 kilograms.

The user can activate the DC motors flange-mounted on the fixed castors via controls on the trolley handle, which facilitate starting and moving the trolley by applying a high thrust force to the castors. Blickle also offers various locking systems for its swivel castors, which prevent rolling and swivel movements when the trolley is at rest. With the central-stop, for example, two or more castors can be locked at once using a foot lever.

Blickle castors with drum brakes ensure that the operator of a trolley retains full control at all times. In contrast to conventional locking systems, they can also be activated during travel to reduce speed. For particularly high safety requirements, Blickle also offers a wide range of swivel and fixed castors with dead man's function. With these, the brake is only released when the castors are activated; when not in use, they are automatically locked. as
