Foldable large load carrier

The big one for more space

Schoeller Allibert has developed a flat, foldable large-volume container especially for the automotive supply chain. The Magnum Optimum 595 is suitable for high-density, low-volume parts and is designed to maximize and thus reduce vehicle utilization.

The Magnum Optimum 595 is only 295 millimetres high when folded and therefore offers the lowest folding rate on the market, according to the manufacturer. The height of 595 millimetres was developed for parts with a high density and low volume in order to maximize the utilization of the vehicle and at the same time reduce logistics costs andCO2 emissions. A standard truck can hold up to 208 empty and up to 78 fully loaded containers. The design of the Magnum Optimum 595 includes a modular system that allows this large, foldable container to increase its volume by 105 millimeters with the Optiframe frame or even include compartments to secure soft or textile inserts.

With a dynamic load of 750 kilograms and a stacking load of 3,200 kilograms, Magnum Optimum 595 is the strongest foldable large load carrier on the market. "Better, safer, more stable. Although it was a real challenge, we wanted to offer the best of our technology with this new container and at the same time guarantee an environmentally friendly product," explained Ludo Gielen, Head of Strategic Business Development at Schoeller Allibert.

Tracking and fleet management

The new design also offers many security and labeling options that ensure easy tracking and fleet management. Recessed areas for permanent labels on all sides with barcode labels and large inserts for customization on each wall allow customers to label their products with the logo on each container. Label holders on doors and walls are included, but a must are definitely the multiple RFID labels or IoT signals (can be fitted on request) that enable 100% accurate and customized packaging management.

All parts of this container have clamp connections or bayonet locks, making all parts, sides and doors easy to replace. Smooth, straight surfaces that are easy to clean (no water or dirt residue), any folding sequence and easy-to-use locking devices make the Magnum Optimum 595 a user-friendly container. as
