The central element is the nexxt fleet web platform with various intelligent applications that customers can use to manage the efficiency of their industrial truck fleet from anywhere in the world. As a further core element of fleet management, Still offers rental solutions, financing and services from a single source. "We already manage over 30,000 vehicles in our rental fleet in the EMEA region. We always keep an eye on the utilization, average age and condition of the vehicles. This means we can always supply our customers with the right vehicle for their needs, in the right configuration for the required use," explains Alexander Heimann, Head of Rental at Still.

Covering peaks in demand with short-term rental
Short-term rental is currently becoming more and more important, as it allows peak demand to be covered or equipment that is only required at short notice to be used at fixed, calculable costs. With fleet management services, customers can concentrate on their core business.

"Our customers face various challenges in logistics. In addition to cost pressure, these include volatile requirements, high growth rates and the demand for additional services. In order to cope with these tasks, they have to plan capacities and manage employees and the existing fleet," explains Jacques Arrighi, Senior Vice President Business Line Sales Applications & Services at Still. "The complexity of larger industrial truck fleets, especially across different locations and national borders, can only be managed with the help of smart hardware and software solutions in order to deploy people and machines optimally and with maximum productivity."

Online portal nexxt fleet
More than 100,000 industrial trucks worldwide are now managed with Still software solutions. Customers currently have access to nine applications with different functions via the nexxt fleet online portal. This gives the operator an overview with visualization of all relevant fleet data and key figures in an application with online access from any device. In addition, the user is automatically notified if certain values or deadlines are exceeded. If the customer wants to concentrate fully on their core business, they can also rent the entire fleet management and the required vehicles from Still in a single solution.

"With nexxt fleet, all vehicles can be managed regardless of brand, maintenance can be planned and capacity utilization and costs per vehicle can be precisely analysed. Our experience shows that efficient fleet management increases the profitability of the fleet and avoids overcapacity," continues Jacques Arrighi.

After around 12 to 18 months, Still recommends a fleet review to check whether the fleet still meets the requirements. In addition to this holistic review and optimization of industrial truck fleets, the intralogistics consultants can also carry out further warehouse analyses as required. as
