Loading and unloading without assistance

The demo system from Ferag exhibited at Motek shows the potential of Skyfall technology in the pocket sorter sector.

The new Skysorter bags designed by the Swiss have walls made of elastic synthetic fibers. They are designed in such a way that they can be perfectly loaded and emptied by themselves. The stations for automatic loading and unloading can process up to 2,000 bags per hour.

At the start of the show route, the conveyed goods fall automatically into the prepared bag. At the other end of the course, it slides out of the bag - sorted according to different criteria - in a controlled manner. The individual hangers can be combined not only with bags, but also with the various load carriers.

Another application from automotive production on show in Stuttgart includes hangers with injection-molded parts for vehicle interiors and exteriors. Skyfall lines equipped with such hangers can be used like an electric monorail system to link different assembly processes and as a dynamic production storage system. The Skyfall shuttles used here can transport loads of up to 30 kilograms. as
