Pedestrian stacker

Loads well balanced

Combilift has added pedestrian stackers to its range in recent years and expanded the models in this series. For handling lighter loads, customers increasingly prefer hand-operated forklifts to forklift trucks for safety reasons.

Hand-held devices offer greater safety both for the operator directly and for other personnel in the vicinity. Other advantages include lower operating costs and faster operator training. The Combi-WR4 multidirectional reach truck and the Combi-CS pedestrian stacker can operate in the narrowest aisle widths for trucks of their type (1.6 meters for the Combi-WR4). The Combi-CS has a load capacity of 1,000 kilograms; Combilift has planned variants with higher capacities.

A key feature of both models is the multi-position tiller head, developed and patented by Combilift, which ensures safe operation, maximum visibility and narrow aisle performance. When placing and removing loads in narrow aisles, it can be turned to the left or right to control the powered rear wheel. The operator remains at the side of the unit rather than between the truck and the racking, as is the case with conventional pedestrian stackers, eliminating the risk of crushing. pb
