APS at the Logimat
Packed under a new roof
Automated Packaging Systems (APS) is presenting the latest generation of its pouch packaging systems at Logimat. Large spare parts or clothing can be securely packaged in pouches with formats ranging from 400 millimetres wide to 680 millimetres long.
The Autobag 600 and 650 APS systems process up to 65 and 40 bags per minute respectively. According to the manufacturer, both systems can be easily integrated into packing stations and merchandise management systems. The machine design is kept simple with only a few moving parts. On-board diagnostics and modular components simplify maintenance. APS's protective packaging sector, which has now been incorporated directly into Sealed Air, will be showcasing its further developed AirPouch FastWrap range and Geo-Tech recycled film. The new machines now produce the patented honeycomb bubble wrap in widths of up to 800 millimetres. as
