New Sales Director Europe at Topsystem
Frank Rissler has been the new Sales Director Europe at voice specialist Topsystem since January 1, 2020. In Rissler, the system house, which is part of the Ehrhardt + Partner Group, has brought an experienced expert from the auto-ID industry on board to drive forward the further internationalization of the company and sales in Europe.
The 56-year-old has over 28 years of experience in the Auto-ID industry in various positions of responsibility. He began his career in 1991 at Sato Europe as product manager for label printers in Europe. He moved into sales in 1994. This was followed by ten years at Zebra, initially as Region Manager, later as Sales Manager Central Europe, two years at Datalogic as Sales Manager Scanner and seven years at Vocollect as Region Director Central and Eastern Europe. Most recently, Rissler spent three years at Citizen Systems as Sales Director EMEA.
For Rissler, the move to topsystem is linked to a personal passion for voice-based solutions: "The opportunity to combine my experience in international sales management with my 'old love' of voice solutions was an offer I couldn't refuse. Of course, there was also the exciting challenge of making my contribution to further expanding the market position of the fastest-growing provider of pick-by-voice solutions."
For Rissler, the company has clearly developed into a technology leader in the field of voice-assisted working in recent years: "Whether speaker-independent speech recognition or innovative in-house developments such as the robust Voxter Elite, the Voxter Scan or the Lydia VoiceWear picking vest and, of course, the complete Lydia Software Suite: Topsystem has shown how best to respond to market requirements. Particularly in times of IoT and Industry 4.0, the further improvement of ergonomics will play a major role. Speech is the natural communication method of humans and will therefore also conquer new markets outside of traditional warehouse logistics."
