New roles, new Torsten

Torwegge is presenting the IHE enclosure series for the first time at Motek. With a load capacity of 700 kilograms, the components are particularly suitable for use in warehouses and assembly halls where heavy goods have to be transported.

They are equipped with a swivel head with a double ball bearing, hardened bearing shells and strong kingpins, are made of solid pressed steel and are galvanized. The housings are available in sizes 80, 100 and 125 millimetres.

Torwegge will also be presenting an innovation from the AGV sector: The multi-award-winning Torsten transport robot will be shown in its 2.0 version following its relaunch. In this form, it is slightly wider and longer than its predecessor at 0.92 by 1.365 meters. Thanks to the use of a new motor, it also achieves a higher maximum speed than before: at 1.2 meters per second, it is 25 percent faster than the previous version. as
