New multi-carrier
Schneider Electric has developed Lexium MC12, a new multi-carrier for transporting, positioning and grouping objects.
With its simple, modular installation method and wide range of functions, the flexible solution allows new machine designs to be implemented. For example, it is possible to design individual rail layouts and move the carriers mounted on them individually and at different speeds. In discrete production, this allows significantly more compact systems with very short throughput times to be implemented.
Supported by a digital twin application, Lexium MC12 also offers intelligent planning, diagnostics and maintenance options. Downtimes and changeover times are also kept to a minimum.
