New Managing Director at Toyota Material Handling
Toyota Material Handling Europe appoints Jan Lorenz as new Managing Director for the German sales organization, Toyota Material Handling Germany.
"We are delighted to welcome Jan Lorenz to the Toyota family," says Matthias Fischer, President and CEO of Toyota Material Handling Europe. Jan Lorenz takes office on October 1, 2018 and succeeds Norman Memminger, who has been appointed Senior Vice President for the important Rental & Used business of Toyota Material Handling Europe.
Born in Hamburg, Jan Lorenz (45) can look back on an international career at Jungheinrich: He held management positions in the US market for several years. There he built up a broad dealer network and subsequently took over the management of the direct sales organization before returning to Germany as Vice President Regional Sales & Marketing. For his last position, he moved to the UK in 2014 as Managing Director.
Jan Lorenz is already looking forward to his new role: "I am honoured to lead the German organization at a time when the shift towards lean logistics, automation and connectivity is progressing rapidly.
