Large spare parts or clothing can now be securely packaged in bags with formats from 400 millimetres wide to 680 millimetres long. The APS Autobag 600 and 650 systems pack up to 65 or 40 bags per minute. The bag format can be changed in less than two minutes when using the pre-opened Autobag bags.

APS relies on modern technology and safe design. Light barriers and double hand switches could therefore be dispensed with. According to the manufacturer, both systems are ergonomic and easy to integrate into existing configurations. The simple machine design with only a few moving parts is intended to reduce operating costs and improve reliability. On-board diagnostics and modular components simplify maintenance. A combination with counters, scales and feeders from APS or other manufacturers is possible. Both systems can be easily integrated into packing stations and merchandise management systems.

The new Autolabel thermal transfer printer from APS has been integrated into the Autobag 650 system. It enables individual next-bag-out printing over the next bag to be filled and positioned. This ensures accuracy and efficiency in applications that require frequent product and label changes, such as e-commerce or mail order. Product jams are prevented and there is no need for a separate labeling process. The loading areas can be tilted by 45 degrees for processing long or sensitive products. as
