New dual leadership at DS Automotion

Manfred Hummenberger and Wolfgang Hillinger have been the new Managing Directors of DS Automotion since September 1, 2018. Co-founder and long-standing Managing Director Arthur Kornmüller has retired.

The Linz-based company DS Automotion is a provider of automated guided vehicles (AGVs). Manfred Hummenberger and co-founder Arthur Kornmüller managed the company for more than 30 years. Since January, Wolfgang Hillinger has been responsible for sales and marketing as the third member of the management team.

Since Kornmüller retired at the end of August, Manfred Hummenberger and Wolfgang Hillinger have once again taken over the management of DS Automotion as a dual leadership team. The aim of the newly formed management team is to further expand the leading position of the AGV manufacturer both through partnerships and organically, according to the press release.

Arthur Kornmüller is leaving the company to enjoy his retirement. However, he will not stay completely away from driverless transport systems. Since September, he has been on the board of the VDMA's newly created AGV specialist department to promote the harmonization of standards. as
