New castors and slide rails from item
The highest demands are placed on carriages and roller carriages in Karakuri/low-cost automation. They need to be robust and easy to move at the same time. To meet these requirements, item has developed the D30/D6-16 T1 roller with ball bearings. It is highly resilient, operates with low friction and also impresses with its mobility when transporting heavy loads. With the new coloured Slide Rails D30, item is now integrating yet another product into the Lean Production Building Kit System that optimizes the implementation of design tasks. The simple marking of equipment leads to better differentiation and ultimately to more efficient work processes.
Item's new D30/D6-16 T1 rollers reduce wear on trolleys in Karakuri/low-cost automation applications. The friction of the cylindrical rollers changes only slightly under load. They therefore enable precise movements and smooth running of carriages or other moving components. The pre-assembled roller set 8 D30-30 T1 with sliding block 8 can be quickly and easily attached to the profile tube 8 D30. This means that even complex designs can be realized within a very short time. The combination of rollers D30/D6-16 T1 with rollers D30/D6-16 is suitable for transporting light loads as it prevents the carriage from jamming. This results in optimum control of gravity in Karakuri applications. The slight indentation in the running surface of the D30/D6-16 makes the profile tubes 8 D30 ideal for use as guide rails.
The company offers D30 slide rails in seven different colors for the clear design of racks and transport routes. These can be simply snapped onto profile tubes and are therefore easy to replace. On the one hand, the low-friction slide rails serve as profile protection. On the other hand, the color coding makes it easier to visually differentiate between container contents or work processes. For example, the employee can immediately see which transport trolley contains rejects and which contains finished products.
