Mono mast

Mono mast for coils

Hyster has developed a special mono mast for large forklift trucks that makes it easier to transport metal coils at temperatures of up to 450 degrees Celsius. It has a load capacity of 25 to 32 tons and less wear, as the fork carriage can be lifted directly with the lifting cylinders without any further chain deflection.

Due to the high temperatures, the lifting chains and hose guides on the previously used double lift masts are in need of repair relatively quickly. The mono mast was developed by the Special Engineering Department specifically for the Hyster H25-32XM-12 series of large forklift trucks. The coils can be lifted and transported directly using an integrated mandrel. According to the manufacturer, this means that the lifting chains normally used can be dispensed with.

For example, a mono mast with an overall height of 5,250 millimetres and a free lift of 2,745 millimetres with an integrated mandrel can be used to stack hot coils up to two high. The robust Hyster stackers in the H25-32XM-12 series are suitable for heavy-duty applications, particularly for handling metal sheets and blocks. as
