Logimat premiere for automated modular vehicle
E&K Automation is coming to Stuttgart with its own development in the field of automated standard industrial trucks: the Vario Move, a modular construction with a maintenance-friendly design, is celebrating its premiere at Logimat.
The new vehicle consists of a drive unit that can be flexibly equipped with different load handling attachments via a standardized interface. EK Automation provides standardized modules that fulfill the most frequently required transport tasks. The vehicles can be equipped with all the main navigation technologies available on the market. The Li-ion energy system enables fully automated charging, making it always available and maintenance-free.
General maintenance is also easier. All of the vehicle's components are easily accessible thanks to a quickly removable cover, exposing the entire technology. There is no need for time-consuming unscrewing. The lower part of the front of the vehicle, the particularly solidly constructed "bumper area" including safety technology such as personal protection scanners, can also be easily replaced in the event of possible damage.The standardized design of the vehicles for different tasks also reduces the amount of training required for in-house technicians.
As both the drive unit and the various load handling attachments are standardized and connected via a uniform interface, no extra adjustments need to be made with Vario Move. This reduces the delivery time by up to 50 percent. as
