Development, product management, order processing and after-sales service were already traditionally based in the Ruhr region. With the insourcing of production, the Multiscan is now 100% "made in Gelsenkirchen". "Our measuring devices and their standard accessories are pre-produced here in batches. This has the advantage that we can react very quickly to customer inquiries, are able to deliver at much shorter notice and can achieve an optimum stock level with the help of self-regulating control loops," says Christian Bauer.

The new employees will be organizationally combined with the subsidiary Apostore so that personnel resources can be divided between the two companies depending on workload and priority. This will ensure that production capacity is evenly utilized.

The Multiscan mobile recording station records the volume and weight of items or packages at the touch of a button and, if required, creates item photos during the measuring process. The recorded data is available digitally for further processing in the customer's ERP system and forms the basis for a wide range of optimization measures along the supply chain.

The system is available in three different sizes and can be equipped with a transport trolley and an integrated battery box, allowing it to be used for up to 16 hours without a power supply. This makes it suitable for mobile use in industrial environments. as
