Jungheinrich orders Powerfleet
Jungheinrich and I.D. Systems agreed their technology partnership at the beginning of the year. The first Jungheinrich orders for the Powerfleet fleet management system solution have now been confirmed.
To this end, the two companies have jointly developed a telemetry platform for Jungheinrich trucks in combination with fleet management software. Jungheinrich customers should be able to operate their intralogistics operations more safely and cost-effectively in the future. "In recent months, our companies have jointly mastered all development milestones," says Mark Stanton, General Manager of Powerfleet for Industrial, Tampa/USA. "We see our partnership as long-term and are committed to developing next-generation platforms together with Jungheinrich. "Frank Marschatz, Service Director at Jungheinrich, also expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration: "We are delighted to be able to offer our customers solutions that enable them to track utilization, vehicle maintenance, damage and compliance with safety regulations quickly and seamlessly in order to precisely identify problem areas and areas for improvement."
