Flexible charging outdoors
Fronius is launching the Energy Hub, a mobile charging station for outdoor applications. Operators of electrically powered industrial trucks can use it to charge their traction batteries quickly and easily outdoors.
The mobile outdoor charging station is delivered ready to use and can be set up anywhere. Thanks to the additionally reinforced base, even heavy 80-volt batteries can be parked safely. On request, the charging station can also be combined with a Fronius photovoltaic system and inverters to further reduce electricity costs.
It is equipped with standard-compliant ventilation ex works. This circulates several hundred cubic meters of air per hour. An air heat exchanger allows the warm air to remain in the container. The Fronius Energy Hub complies with the charging station regulations in accordance with EN 62485 and the approval of the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBT). It can also be ordered with REI 90 classification for special fire protection requirements. It also has numerous intelligent functions: An exhaust air and monitoring sensor system automatically switches off the charging technology if the hydrogen concentration is too high, which can cause oxyhydrogen gas to develop. dsc
