Mini with stamina

The new Mini series from J.D. Neuhaus (JDN) is a range of compact hoists which, according to the manufacturer, is probably unique in the industry thanks to an integrated NFC tag with service app. The number of operating hours until the first general overhaul has been doubled.

This gives the new Mini 800 hours. In addition, the maximum speed under full load has been increased by 20 percent for selected load capacities. The maximum speed can be infinitely adjusted, i.e. reduced, without any loss of performance in terms of load capacity. New, more flexible control lines, which are bundled in a hose, ensure greater operating comfort. Maintenance work can be carried out without dismantling the hoist, which reduces downtimes during operation. And thanks to the NFC tag, the operator has access to device-specific data and documents using a smartphone on which the JDN service app is loaded. The Mini offers a world first in terms of security: A redundant, optional fall protection system is available at the request of certain customer groups. If the higher-level, on-site structure on which the hoist is mounted should fail, this prevents the hoist and its load from falling. The new limit switches offer a further safety benefit. They switch off the lifting and lowering movement as soon as the buffer touches the shut-off valve. The entire series consists of four types with load capacities of 125, 250, 500 and 980 kilograms. as
