Hoffmann Group wins 3 times at the iF Design Award
This year, the Hoffmann Group received the coveted iF Design Award, which is presented annually by the world's oldest independent design institution, the iF International Forum Design in Hanover, for three Garant brand products. The Garant ToolCar workshop trolley, the Garant Xpent 5-axis clamp and the Garant magnetic measuring stand were honored in the "Product Design" discipline. The trio won over the 63-member international jury of experts and prevailed against 6,400 submissions from 54 countries.
The new Garant GridLine ToolCar is a talented organizer on wheels that impresses with its progressive design and clear lines. The centrally lockable side compartment has a Garant perforated panel to which Garant Easyfix holders and hooks for holding tools can be attached.
The Garant Xpent clamp optimized for 5-sided machining, on the other hand, impresses with its modularity and flexibility. The clamp can be adapted to any machining strategy in just a few simple steps. This is ensured by clamping modules that can be rotated by 180 degrees, over one hundred millimetres of travel without conversion and a modern quick-change spindle system that allows the clamping range to be adjusted in an instant.
The hydraulic Garant magnetic measuring stand is designed for the precise holding and positioning of dial gauges and lever gauges. The hydraulic central clamping enables extreme holding forces and is wear-free. The large, rubberized handwheel allows all joints to be fixed evenly. Thanks to its V-shaped underside, the measuring stand can also be placed on shafts and cylindrical bodies. The specially developed plastic encapsulation of the magnetic base allows a secure grip and protects the surface of sensitive workpieces. am
