Guard locking for safety
Switching quickly between packaging formats, assembling foodstuffs specifically, dosing medicines according to the individual - the packaging sector as well as the food and pharmaceutical industries place special demands on their systems.
This also applies to safety requirements. Euchner offers a comprehensive product portfolio for the protection of people, machines and production goods. To reliably protect processes from unintentional interruptions, Euchner will be presenting its new CTM solenoid interlock to the packaging industry at Fachpack. Thanks to its compact product design, the switch can be installed in machines in such a way that it is virtually invisible. With its special hygienic design, the CTM is particularly suitable for the demanding food and pharmaceutical industries. The bistable guard locking function ensures that the guard locking remains in its current state in the event of a power failure or when the system is switched off: the door remains locked if it was previously locked. If the guard locking was not previously activated, the door can also be opened and closed as required. This means that people can no longer be locked in unintentionally in the event of a power failure. pb
