FTF innovations in a double pack
DS Automotion will be focusing on two product innovations in Stuttgart.
Vertically, the experienced AGV specialists are going on the offensive with the driverless high-lift AGV Amadeus. Horizontally, Oscar omni, a new generation of underride AGVs, combines full area mobility with personal safety.
Both AGVs can also be integrated into the manufacturer's existing freely navigating AGVs. The forklift truck, which was designed for driverless operation from the outset, and the underride AGV were developed and produced by DS Automotion. Amadeus masters contour-based navigation as well as laser navigation. As an option, it can also use magnetic points or reflectors for greater positioning accuracy. The sensors for personal safety operate with unobstructed all-round visibility. The Oscar omni is the first member of a new generation of underride vehicles from DS Automotion. The AGV, which is only 235 millimeters flat, is independent of the load carrier. It navigates contour-based without specially installed landmarks using KBL technology and masters magnetic point navigation. mm
