Industrial trucks, lifts and pallet trucks must be specially designed and manufactured with suitable materials for use in clean rooms or hazardous areas. Conveyor technology specialist EAP Lachnit specializes in stainless steel industrial trucks, lifts and pallet trucks that meet these stringent requirements.
The portfolio ranges from the robust 400 K pallet truck, which transports up to 2,500 kilograms, to electric forklifts and electric pallet trucks in stainless steel design in pedestrian-only operation or as a rider device. The Multilift for use in cleanrooms has no wheels - it runs on air cushions. The design is a clever alternative to forklifts with wheels. This is because they have to apply friction to generate traction. However, this results in abrasion and thus contamination, which must be avoided in cleanrooms.
The pressure of the air cushions can be controlled individually to prevent tilting or tipping when picking up loads. The compact stacker can turn on the spot thanks to its air cushion drive. The load capacity is up to 250 kilograms with a boom width of 750 millimetres or 150 kilograms with a boom width of 1,000 millimetres.
