Automated Packaging Systems (APS) is presenting the latest generation of its pouch packaging systems. The APS Autobag 500 and 550 systems offer optimum ease of use coupled with maximum operating reliability at high packaging speeds, the company promises.
Downtimes for changing the bag format or for maintenance are minimized. Innovative pouch guides enable a trouble-free packaging process. APS will also be showcasing its packaging solutions for e-commerce and mail order. The systems developed for this purpose can be loaded manually, but can also be integrated into fully automated fulfillment systems.
The fulfillment segments of picking, packing and labeling/franking can now be completed in a single operation with the new APS systems. The AB 850S processes mailing bags with a width of up to 550 millimeters. For the protective packaging of sensitive goods during transportation and storage, APS will be presenting its further developed Air Pouch Fast Wrap system. It now produces the patented honeycomb air cushion film in widths of up to 800 millimeters. One carton of film produces 326 linear meters of bubble wrap. as
