Maximum order with minimum space requirements
The company Apfel develops storage solutions for tools with vertical pull-outs. The principle is similar to apothecary cabinets and, according to the manufacturer, creates maximum organization with minimum space requirements, especially in the area of machining production. In the models of the WKS series, the basic materials, components and workmanship ensure functionality and a long service life.
The bolted tool holders, specially developed for turning and milling tools, are equipped with colored plastic hooks for all common tool types, such as SK, HSK, VDI, ABS or Capto. According to the manufacturer, the precise fit means that the tools are always stored gently and securely, while the flexible design allows the hooks and holders to be changed quickly and easily.
In addition to the WKS tool cabinets in heights of 1,240 and 2,140 mm, a compact intermediate model with a height of 1,620 mm has been developed, which combines maximum storage capacity with optimum access height, especially when handling heavy tools. A WKS 035 Set S can store 400 tools with a front width of just over one meter. Like all WKS tool cabinets, the WKS 015 with 1,050 mm and the WKS 035 with 1,300 mm can also be moved, the practical vertical pull-outs are individually lockable and each has a load capacity of 900 kg thanks to stable, rotating wheels. sw
