Compact and precise - Steinmeyer Mechatronik from Dresden has developed a solution for inspection systems and microscopy with the HT KT210 cross and lift table combination.
The HT KT210 consists of a cross table KT210 and a lifting table HT210. With an overall height of 80 millimetres and external dimensions of 210 x 210 millimetres, it places few demands on the available installation space. Motors, cable drag and a controller are integrated. The XY table and lift table unit has a travel of 100 by 100 millimetres on the two horizontal axes and a stroke of eight millimetres on the vertical axis. The repeat accuracy in the plane is plus/minus 2.7 micrometers and in height plus/minus 5.2 micrometers.
Programming and connection take place via USB or Can-Bus; the latter makes it possible to send status data and provide feedback on program statuses and the system status (history, operating hours counter, life data) via the network. This is made possible by an integrated, externally invisible controller with its own program memory. With appropriate integration, the user can also access the positioning system remotely via the Internet. pb
