The easy-to-use calculation programs on the ACE homepage are attracting more and more visitors. In the "Calculations" menu, they help interested parties to calculate and order industrial shock absorbers and gas springs online. In addition, SLAB damping and isolation mats can be configured and ordered online for custom cutting at any time and any place.

With its expanded digital offering, ACE is taking the next step towards end-to-end digitization and further process optimization for all customers. At the trade fair in Stuttgart, ACE will provide information about the functions of the programs that can be used on the homepage with their easy-to-use interfaces. More can also be learned about their potential with regard to further developments, such as the online store and additional new channels in digital commerce.

André Weßling, globally responsible for marketing and the online tools project group at ACE, explains: "In recent years, ACE has laid a solid digital foundation in order to meet rapidly changing customer requirements. Today, for example, customers no longer necessarily want to communicate directly with the specialist advisor. Instead, we are seeing a trend towards customers configuring products and solutions themselves in a do-it-yourself manner. The key to the success and use of such tools is usability. If a tool or tool is not so simple that it is self-explanatory, it will not be used."

Online configurators
One example is the online configurators for selecting and cutting vibration-isolating and shock-absorbing panels from the SLAB product families. Both online programs are easy to use, allowing users to configure which vibration-isolating and shock-absorbing panels they want to order in any shape within a minute, around the clock.

Once the shape has been configured and described, a price is calculated online, and when the item is ordered, the system automatically generates a CAD file for the cutting machine in parallel. This procedure saves time and resources, which can also be reflected in the price for the customer.

For them, communication with ACE is therefore possible without barriers and extremely practical, especially as the few steps on the computer no longer require any previous manual work for sketches or calculations, but the configurator outputs the technical drawing with the order.

For customers who do not want to do without the previous service provided by the technical office and field service, personal advice and assistance with calculations and orders will of course continue to be available at the trade fair stand or on the phone, as well as during on-site consultations. as
