Since 2019, LTK Lineartechnik Korb has been offering its customers a spindle technology center with an area of 500 square meters at its headquarters in Waiblingen. However, the term "center" refers to more than just the newly built production hall with its associated machinery. "By center, we mean the combination of the various spindle technologies with all the associated services under one roof. Thanks to the short distances, the wide range of products and the combined expertise, we can process customer inquiries and orders from LTK and MEW extremely quickly," says LTK Managing Director Ephraim Schwegler.

Production of in-house PWGs
In addition to ball screw and thread roller screw drives, which are sourced from well-known manufacturers such as NSK and Rollvis, LTK has also been producing planetary roller screw drives in-house for a few months now. "By producing PWGs in-house, the customer naturally benefits from very short delivery and replenishment times. In addition, we can offer PWGs not only in the standard diameter range of 16 to 100 millimetres, but now also special designs as standard," says Schwegler.

LTK has also intensified its cooperation with NSK. With immediate effect, LTK and MEW are the first certified NSK partners in Europe in the field of spindle machining. As an "NSK Certified Workshop", both companies are responsible for processing special NSK customer orders. as
