A new miniature linear guideway is available from Rodriguez, which is characterized by low friction and low-noise running with low maintenance requirements. The compact BM series linear guideway complements Rodriguez's portfolio of miniature components.
The stainless steel design, improved ease of movement and high precision ensure that the miniature linear guideway is also particularly suitable for demanding areas of application such as medical technology, the semiconductor industry, 3D printing and measurement technology. With a maximum speed of meters per second and an acceleration of 140 meters per square second, the solution impresses with its high dynamics. An integrated lubricant reservoir makes it largely maintenance-free and extends its service life.
To prevent contamination of the recirculating ball system with lubricant, the manufacturer has equipped the guide with an optimized sealing system. Other design features include a holding device to prevent ball loss and a special deflection system to reduce noise. Universal reference edges contribute to safe and quick installation. The miniature profile rail guide is available in three compact sizes with rail lengths of up to 1,000 millimetres. pb
