Slide guidance in the tightest of spaces
The newly developed "Motorized Miniature Slide Guide" MML from ERO-Führungen is a positioning system with an extremely small footprint.
With an overall height of just 15 millimetres, the MML is a real space saver. Like almost all products from the linear technology specialist from the Black Forest, the MML is designed as a modular system. This results in three versions of this new product.
Three versions
All versions are mounted on a recirculating ball bearing guide, which promises maximum precision. The differences lie in the drives. The first version is driven by a stepper motor and a threaded spindle. This results in a very high repeat accuracy (<0.01 millimetres).
In the second version, the priority is on fast and precise movements. Here, the drive is provided by a linear motor.
The third version in this standard type is completed by an eccentric design. It offers advantages for the fastest positioning tasks and is ideally suited for oscillating movements.
Despite these differences, these three versions have one thing in common - minimal space requirements. The smallest version with spindle drive has a height of 15 millimetres, a width of 30 millimetres and effective strokes of 25-50 millimetres (standard) with an overall length of 150 millimetres. At just 220 grams, this motorized slide guide is also a lightweight. dsc
