RK Rose+Krieger at the Motek 2022

Andreas Mühlbauer,

Components for more design freedom and easier assembly

Innovations in pipe connection technology and linear technology will take center stage at Motek this year. The new products that RK Rose+Krieger will be presenting in Stuttgart include articulated joints for the industrial staircase and working platform system (ITAS), an anti-rotation device for system superstructures, a multi-axis modular system for gantry constructions and the RK MonoLine Z80 linear axis in a corrosion-resistant design.

The new "Anti-Twist" anti-twist system has recently become available as an accessory for one-piece RK Light Clamps plastic pipe connectors in size 30 mm. Used in system assemblies, the anti-twist system guarantees time-saving installation and simple adjustment of the structure. The system made of anodized aluminium tube (diameter 30 mm) with four profile grooves at an angle of 90° and black plastic clips made of reinforced polyamide can be freely combined with all one-piece RK Light Clamps of size 30 mm in closed design. Not only is it much easier to align and install than conventional sheet metal clamps, it also absorbs up to three times higher torsional moments than standard plastic pipe connectors.

Articulated adjustable sockets ensure maximum design freedom

Three new articulated sockets have been added to the RK System catalog range for industrial stairs and work platforms (ITAS). The sockets have a swivel range of 180° and an internal toothing with a 15° grid that can be removed for stepless adjustment. The joint makes it possible to compensate for slight unevenness in the floor and offers maximum design freedom thanks to the freely selectable angular position. Only a standard tool is still required to install the new joint sleeves, which can be combined with all ITAS elements and 40 mm pipes.

Multi-axis modular system simplifies the design and assembly of gantry systems

With the new modular system, linear, surface and room gantries based on the RK DuoLine and RK MonoLine series can be realized quickly and easily. The multi-axis modular system includes coordinated design components such as clamping strips, system plates and brackets, universal energy chain holders and motor adapters for connecting servo motors and planetary gearboxes from all common manufacturers. Associated CAD data and detailed assembly instructions facilitate design and assembly.

Corrosion-protected RK MonoLine Z80

RK Rose+Krieger now offers the RK MonoLine Z80 linear axis in a completely corrosion-resistant version especially for applications where condensation and dripping water forms due to the ambient or production conditions. All parts of the axis, which are made of steel in the standard version, have been replaced with stainless steel components. In addition, prefabricated drain holes are provided in the toothed belt deflection for vertical use of the axis, which can be opened by the customer if necessary.
