Cable assembly

Cable carriers delivered to the line ready for installation

LQ Mechatronik-Systeme offers the production of complete, ready-to-install cable carrier systems. The company organizes everything on request, from engineering and assembly to shipping on adapted transport racks and comprehensive service.

Energy supply chains are used wherever moving machine parts need to be supplied with energy or data. In addition to analysis and project planning for these complex products, LQ also offers advice on the use of components such as high-quality connectors, cables and hoses. As a system partner, the experts from Besigheim organize the details of the machine installation, take care of manufacturers and suppliers and provide complete, ready-to-install assemblies, including installation plans.

From cable assembly to the complete system
"On behalf of customers, we develop prototypes and support the introduction or conversion to new components and assemblies, among other things," says Michael Chmura from the sales department at LQ. All project data can be managed and updated centrally using an engineering tool. The company not only assumes responsibility for the provision of standard, simple cable carriers, but also organizes everything for complex solutions, from cable assembly to the complete system and from consulting to assembly and processing. This creates advantages in terms of quality, time and costs. The installation of ready-made, function-tested cable drag chains also reduces the burden on in-house logistics.

Pluggable energy chains and multi-axis systems
The drag chains vary greatly depending on the area of application. Energy chains with plastic or metal stays are recommended depending on the environmental conditions or load. The dynamics of the chain at the subsequent place of use also play a role in the selection of components, as cables and plastic parts last for different lengths of time depending on the load. "We can now draw on experience here and can give our customers service recommendations based on specific intervals," says Jochen Friedl.

When installing the chains, the assembly staff take great care when laying the individual cables in the chain. Finally, they are professionally strain-relieved and tested for optimum functionality. "Purchasing ready-made cable drag chains reduces assembly throughput times from days to hours and provides flexibility in the event of order fluctuations," he emphasizes.

Maintenance, service work, repairs and the procurement of spare parts for the complete modular systems supplied are carried out by trained QL employees. Conversions and commissioning are also carried out worldwide on request thanks to a 24-hour on-call service. The custom-fit installation systems are provided just in sequence. as
