Sebastian Seutter advises Forcam on the Innovation Board
Forcam, a provider of innovative software solutions for Industry 4.0 whose customers come from the automotive and discrete manufacturing sectors, has appointed Industry 4.0 expert Sebastian Seutter from Microsoft to its Innovation Board.
In mid-2019, SAP co-founder Dietmar Hopp acquired a majority stake in the pioneer of IIoT solutions. The aim is to further expand its leading role in the market with targeted investments in product development and marketing. Almost at the same time, Forcam became a Microsoft "Preferred Partner" for the manufacturing industry and delivers the IIoT platform Forcam Force on Microsoft's Azure Cloud. With the appointment of Sebastian Seutter to the Forcam Innovation Board, this partnership will be further intensified.
Sebastian Seutter has been with Microsoft since 2016, where he is responsible for Industry 4.0 and the future of the manufacturing industry. In this role, he actively supports the digital transformation of numerous industrial companies with a focus on applied technologies, digital ecosystems and strategic partnerships. The Innovation Board supports Forcam's management team in the areas of digital transformation, corporate strategy, business development, technology and new business models. Topics such as growth with ecosystems on digital platforms, the development of cloud-based business models and the use of artificial intelligence are key areas of the Innovation Board's work. The Innovation Board consists of Forcam's management team - Franz Gruber (CEO), Dr. Andrea Rösinger (CDO/CFO) and Oliver Hoffmann (CSO) - as well as Renate Radon as Executive Advisor, Dietmar Hopp and Sebastian Seutter.
