Higher productivity for pressing plants
Many production processes begin with forming, especially in the manufacture of vehicles. Sheet metal is cut to size and pressed into shape using presses. Vacuum-based automation technology can significantly increase plant productivity.
The right suction cups are crucial. Vacuum handling technology ensures that the blanks are picked up individually. So-called air knives are used for this purpose, which are created by blowing compressed air between the sheets. To separate the sheets, Piab's BXF series vacuum suction cups with multiple bellows come into play. The suction cups provide a firm grip on the unprocessed blanks, even on greasy, oily, wet or very dry surfaces. The suction cups do most of the work. This approach contributes to less downtime and increases the performance of the system. am
