Motek 2018
Intelligent signaling technology
At the Motek in Stuttgart, Werma Signaltechnik is presenting innovative systems for process optimization as well as a concept study for design-oriented signaling.
In addition, Werma will provide answers to the challenging questions of Industry 4.0, digitalization and networking as part of the lecture programme.
In addition to the classic signaling devices, the company will be showcasing solutions at the trade fair that are designed to make Industry 4.0 tangible, tangible and immediately implementable in practice. The radio-based, innovative systems for process optimization in industry, production and shipping logistics are the only ones in the world to connect machines, workstations or FIFO racks with each other wirelessly. They thus represent a simple, retrofittable and ready-to-use solution for reducing downtimes or for automatic replenishment control.
Werma offers the following systems for process optimization:
- StockSaver: Realizes the third generation Kanban in production logistics
- SmartMonitor: solution for machine data acquisition systems for manufacturing companies
- AndonSpeed: Andon system for optimizing mail order processes
Concept study for design-oriented signaling
Differentiation through design and user experience in product development has also become established in mechanical and plant engineering. As a result, functional elements of signaling technology are integrated into the design of the respective machine manufacturer.
The manufacturer of signaling devices is active in the field of "warning, guiding, protecting" and focuses on integrating the signaling of machine states into the design language of the respective machine manufacturer. This is why Werma is presenting a concept study on integrated design-oriented signaling for the first time at Motek 2018.
