Focus on robot-based automation

At Automatica, ABB Robotics is presenting robots that can be used flexibly. ABB software for simple programming helps to ensure that both classic and collaborative robots can be quickly integrated into existing processes and easily installed.

The YuMi, GoFa and Swifti cobots are very flexible. They support employees in tasks such as material handling, machine operation, assembly and packaging. Employees without programming skills can install and operate them intuitively using state-of-the-art software such as Wizard Easy Programming or the RobotStudio AR Viewer app.

ABB will also be showing how users can replace fixed production lines or distribution processes with flexible networks of intelligent workstations. These modular, robust user cells are connected by autonomous, mobile robots. Thanks to their flexibility and modularity, the cells can be adapted quickly and easily to changing requirements.
