The ET-7042 is connected to higher-level systems via the ModbusTCP/UDP protocol. The integrated web server allows easy parameterization of the module. This means that the switch-on values or the safe values can be set using a browser. The PoE module variants reduce material and installation costs, as the power is supplied directly via Ethernet cable. In addition, the user can create a flexible field multiplexer using the I/O Pair Connection function. Additional safety is provided by the overvoltage protection and cable break detection.
