The availability of data is the key to success in digitalization. At Motek, the company Peakboard will be demonstrating how easy it is to visualize complex data and processes in real time for employees, suppliers and customers.
Peakboard is an all-in-one solution consisting of software and hardware for aggregating data from various sources. The system delivers the information on displays of any size and is primarily used in production, logistics, administration and sales. A central server is not required, as each Peakboard visualizes the data independently according to the company's specifications in the appropriate corporate design.
Each Peakboard accesses a data source directly via WLAN or LAN, merges the data for visualization and transmits it to the desired (large) screen via an HDMI cable. In this way, the system combines the simplicity and flexibility of a digital signage application with the complexity of business process data and key figures, according to the company.
Possible data sources range from machines and sensors to Excel and cloud solutions through to ERP systems such as SAP. Peakboard is SAP-certified, which ensures that the system complies with the high SAP interface standards.
