Assembled products save time: when ordering, in warehousing and in the production process. With the Weidmüller Configurator, software and delivery service, customers receive a quote in just a few minutes and the individual product after five days.
Engineering processes must be ever faster, more precise and more economical. This requires appropriate tools that optimally support the complex planning process, such as the intelligent Weidmüller Configurator (WMC). The software speeds up the selection, configuration and inquiry process for mounting rails, mountable connection and automation components and enclosures.
The order process with the Configure-to-Order service works via the Configurator. With this software, the customer can plan, document, request and order their project independently. The software is available as a free download on the Weidmüller website. Consistent digital production data and standardized interfaces support the planning process from engineering in ECAD through to documentation. If data records from an ECAD system such as Eplan P8 or Zuken E3 already exist for the project, these can be imported via an integrated interface.
Weidmüller also points out that markers with labels for terminal strips are placed automatically, IP protection is taken into account and the layout is checked and, if necessary, completed by the auto-correction function.
Weidmüller offers the "Configure to Order" assembly service for Klippon Connect terminal blocks, Klippon Protect machined empty enclosures and for both together, i.e. assembled enclosures with assembled mounting rails and add-on components such as cable glands or sealing plugs. as
