New HDC inserts from Weidmüller with quick termination technology are designed to improve the wiring of heavy plug connectors. Flexible, fine-stranded conductors from 0.5 to 2.5 square millimetres (AWG 20 to 16), without crimped-on ferrules, can be easily inserted into the open connection point.
Click - and a secure connection is established. No tools are required. The connection can withstand difficult environmental conditions with strong shocks and vibrations. The connection point can be opened by pressing the pusher and the connected conductor can be removed. The Quick-Termination connection technology is being used for the first time in HDC-HE inserts from the Rockstar series. Fixed-pole inserts are available with six, ten, 16 and 24 poles (sizes three, four, six and eight), rated voltage 500 volts/16 amps. The new HDC-QT inserts make wiring more reliable, faster, more flexible and easier. Maintenance work is accelerated. as
