Plug connected correctly
The cable connector consists of just two parts and can be connected without special tools. "As IP67 devices support ever higher transmission speeds, devices with M12 interfaces with X-coding are increasingly being used," says Ruud van den Brink, Product Manager for Industrial Communication at TE. The new connector reduces the likelihood of errors during installation. According to the company, the patented contacting technology ensures optimum transmission performance and time-consuming special preparation of the cable cores is not necessary, as an automatic wire-cutting function cuts them to the optimum length during installation. The connector supports four-pair Power over Ethernet in accordance with IEEE 802.3bt, as it transmits currents of up to one ampere per wire pair simultaneously. as
