In the coming months, Dr. Eckstein will gradually focus more on his tasks as co-owner, according to the company's press release.

MVTec is to retain its shareholder structure. Dr. Eckstein explains: "MVTec will consistently continue on its growth path and continue to focus on being the global technology leader for standard software for machine vision - as before, independently of third-party investors. After a process lasting several years, I am now looking forward to being able to concentrate on my role as a shareholder at MVTec."

Dr. Olaf Munkelt, also Managing Director, co-founder and shareholder, adds: "I am delighted about Dr. Eckstein's focused area of responsibility and look forward to continuing our proven and trusting collaboration. MVTec sees many new areas of application for industrial image processing. We will continue to establish innovative software products in order to offer customers the best possible benefits in all these areas."

To round off this change of responsibility, Dr. Eckstein will visit long-standing partners in various countries in 2019 and provide an insight into MVTec's future strategy. as
