Luminous cable shows danger zones

At the Hannover Messe, Helukabel is presenting Helupower Reflect, a cable with a special reflective foil. It makes danger zones visible and is also available with UL approval.

The Helupower Reflect reflective cable from Helukabel combines electrical energy transmission and optical signaling in one. Covered with a retroreflective yellow foil (DIN 67520), it reflects incident light beams back to their source, regardless of the angle. The "luminous" Helupower Reflect can therefore mark danger zones and obstacles in the dark and avoids the risk of tripping, for example when used as an extension cable.

The supply cable, which is shielded against EMC interference, is therefore ideally suited for use in road traffic, rescue operations, mining and tunnel construction or in the entertainment industry and has UL certification. Special jacket materials make the cable highly abrasion-resistant and resistant to UV radiation. Helukabel also manufactures Helupower Reflect in a spiralized form. Other foil colors are also available on request. as
